Increasing our school capacity – Formal Consultation

We have been working closely with Lancashire County Council regarding a proposal for an expansion of Brookfield School by another 45 places (over the next 3 years). Our intention is to increase the number of class groups to three in each year group (7 more places per year group). This will support our plans to increase quality and opportunity for all pupils.

There is a formal consultation ongoing from 25 November to 20 December 2024, after which a decision will be made as to whether to carry out the proposal. A meeting will be arranged at school where a representative from Lancashire County Council will attend to provide further information and answer any questions you may have. We will publish the date and time of this meeting as soon as it becomes available.
